Good to know before scoring
  • All variables must be entered for calculing PELOD-2 Score and Predicted Death Rate
  • When unknown, a variable must be set as 'Not available' and will be considered normal
  • When a variable is measured multiple times on a 24 hour period, the worst value must be considered
  • For any specific question for subscores (Cardiovascular, Neurologic,...), click on the HELP? button
How to compute and export multiple scores?

  • Days 1, 2, 5, 8, 12, 16, 18 were proven to be of clinical importance
  • To ease scoring PELOD-2 on these days, you can enter admission date and select the day of PELOD2 evaluation. If none are selected, it will score on admission day.
