As a Chief of Division of Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care, Paris Saclay University Hospitals, Daniele De Luca has organised to be equipped six negative pressure rooms, trained in simulation personnel for COVID 19 and in a short time set up new protocols for babies, born by COVID 19 mothers. Even though five of his colleagues got infected outside the hospital - he remains positive that "COVID 19 might surprise us but won't scare us. We change a lot because of COVID 19. But COVID 19 will not change our force or willingness to save lives and look for new ways to reach this result".

The ESPNIC Chair of Professional Development - Alberto Medina Villanueva and ESPNIC Secretary - Mireia Garcia Cusco - have prepared a series of video tutorials for non-ICU colleagues in order to help them handle the Mechanical Ventilation of patients with COVID-19 and breathing dysfunctions. Tutorials are available in English and Spanish.
